The apartment is located in a building from 1970. It was entirely renovated, as most of its features were outdated. The choice of flooring, wall finishes, kitchen, and bathroom design was made with the spirit of the 1970s in mind. The kitchen fronts and the mosaic tiles in the bathroom serve as subtle reminders of the 1970s style.

The bedroom wall was removed to allow natural light to flood the main living space during the day and to create a more spacious feel. To modernise the apartment, an industrial touch was added through the use of black glass frames, bathroom taps, doors, and window handles.
